Medical Training and Academic Background Dr. Will began his career in refractive surgery in the early 1990s. He was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and National Deans List and selected as Chief Resident at the prestigious Eye Institute at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Will was promptly appointed as the Project Director for the International Institute for Advanced Laser Surgery. There, he became involved in several FDA clinical trials evaluating the safety and efficacy of refractive laser and implant modalities. He became one of the first surgeons in North America to perform the LASIK procedure. Dr. Will is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is Adjunct Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the Loma Linda University School of Medicine in California, as well as Adjunct Clinical Professor at Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. He currently serves on the Editorial Board for the Journal of Ophthalmology Management. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and the International Society of Refractive Surgery.
